PID is an association of experienced social scientists, professional journalists and teachers. We work in a variety of areas such as research, consultancy, organisation and public relations - which complement and influence one another. Our services are used by clients from public and private, national and international institutions. PID was founded 1990 in Bonn. Since 1996 we are based in Cologne, maintaining further offices in Bonn and Berlin.   PID is member of Engender asbl. Based in Brussels, Engender is a non-profit association engaged in social and economic issues, providing facilitation, research and project cycle management services. Geographically Engender members work in the European Union, Eastern and Central Europe, Africa, Latin America and Asia.   PID is member of Team Europe.
